We aredeeply impressed by every sincere expression of greetings, caring, andsupporting that will be remembered eternally by us.
During thisperiod, in order to reduce the chance of infection, all of our staff has beenworking online from home. We have canceled or postponed performances andrelated activities during the epidemic, providing well-organized refundservices. In addition, we launched a number of online events to keep closelinks with our audience, such as online opera performances, online lectures, online fan meetings, online chorus, and online VR tours.
Arts and cultureoffer us a unique way in our response to the epidemic. In such a difficulttime, let us gather our spiritual power from the warmth of humanity, comfortpeople with our works of arts and culture, and spread the positive energy ofmankind.
The ancientRoman philosopher Seneca said that “We are waves of the same sea, leaves of thesame tree, and flowers of the same garden." Although our theatres aretemporarily closed, our minds have never left the magnificent world of arts andculture. Sitting at the computer, we are still following the news and changes inthe industry and caring about the joy and sorrow of every colleague. We believethat through the joint efforts of the international community, we will be ableto overcome the hardship together, win the battle against the virus, andre-open our theatres soon. CPAA Theatres would like to work together with SRILTmembers and international performing arts colleagues to break through the darkclouds of the epidemic and create a bright future for the prosperity of artsand culture!
